September 2022

This wedding was an extra special one for me, as I got to help two of my good friends, Rob and AnneMarie, plan their big day! The Tait wedding so much fun to plan, they had a unique vision for their whole weekend, and I was honored to help them put that vision to life.
Our first meeting, we laid out the details: theme, budget, date; and then it was time to jump on looking for the perfect venue. They wanted a whimsical woods theme, where people can camp, enjoy bon fires and all be in one location together. Once we found the Pump House B&B in Bloomsburg, PA, everything started to come to life! It fit the budget, the date was available, and we were able to get to work on everything else. We got a band secured, planned the DIY decor, laid out a timeline, created save the dates and set up meetings to ensure nothing was left out.

The Pump House is insanely beautiful, surrounded by woods and a running creek. The property offers two houses for guests, one being the bridal suite cabin, the other a larger home with multiple bedrooms, as well as two tiny homes on the property. In addition to the houses, the property offers areas to camp along the creek, which guests really enjoyed. The hosts of the B&B offer farm to table breakfast, with fresh eggs, fresh pressed smoothies, and an array of pastries.
They had a casual rehearsal dinner, which we ran through the flow of the ceremony and intros into the reception. After the run throughs, the guests that arrived that evening enjoyed live music around a bon fire, while I set up the reception hall, with the help of some bridesmaids.

The morning of the wedding, I got the ceremony area lined with rose petals and faux eucalyptus stalks, as well as roses in arch. We wanted to keep the etherial vibes through out the whole experience.

Post ceremony, guests were escorted via golf cart or they walked to the reception area to enjoy cocktail hour, while the wedding party took some photos. I coordinated with the photographer, to make sure she had the shot list, asked anyone needed for photos to stay around, and then guided the rests of the guests into the reception hall before we started introductions.

The band was a hit, the food was amazing, and the guests had a blast. But most importantly, the bride and groom were happy!
